The VOCES8 Foundation leads the choral music world with its innovative music education and business models. Its ensembles include VOCES8, Apollo5, Lyyra, the US and UK Scholars and the VOCES8 Foundation Choir and Orchestra. Its online and in person festivals include LIVE From London and the VOCES8 International Summer School and Festival at Milton Abbey. Its production teams include VOCES8 Publishing, the VOCES8 Records label and filmmakers VOCES8 Studios. A dedicated Foundation team delivers world-class performances, as well as learning and participation projects through the VOCES8 Digital Academy and its VOCES8 Method to ensure ‘Music Education For All’.

The VOCES8 Foundation supports the BBC in securing the future of the BBC Singers
The VOCES8 Foundation is delighted that the BBC has announced a sustainable plan for the future for the BBC Singers as an integral part of the BBC’s classical music provision. This news follows the conclusion of a complex project looking at the future of the BBC’s performing groups which was supported by a proposal from The VOCES8 Foundation, a choral music education charity.

The Foundation, its artists and educators tour the world, working with soloists, composers, arrangers and ensembles from world-class symphony orchestras to leading artists in the fields of classical music, pop, rock and jazz. The Foundation’s entrepreneurial and community spirit, and innovative approach are fostered by the co founders of VOCES8, brothers Paul and Barnaby Smith, whose belief in social responsibility fuels all they do.
